PUNX CAMOUFLAGE SERIES

Ddrum has heard the call from the drummers of the underground. High energy performance demands gear that can take a beating and still deliver the goods. In creating the Combat Punx, Diablo's latest addition, we wanted to make a kit with a finish so durable, it could stand up to the most heinous abuse. That is why we have taken military-grade camouflage canvas, and heat-sealed it to Diablo's 9-ply Basswood shell. The covering is stitched at the seam to prevent separation, and bonded to the shell with heat and pressure to prevent warpage; making it one of the most durable finishes in existence .

Upgrades like a 20"x22" kick drum with Maple hoops, a 15-ply, 7"x14" snare drum, and the choice of three coverings are -of course- standard equipment. With the Combat Punx in your drumming artillery, get ready to march into the punk rock battlefield and cry havoc.

Yeah, it's punk; but this is not gear for the lightweight. For the first kit designed exclusively for the young female drummer, we wanted to make a kit that would rock without breaking your back. All of the features standard in the Diablo Camo Punx kit are here, but in smaller sizes; so every player can go into battle with gear that fits.

The Diablo Death-Punx drum package is the first built specifically to stand up to the demands for playing speed metal. Two 20"x22" kick drums with lacquered Maple hoops, two rack toms with our new SpearHead tom mount, two floor toms for deep, penetrating lows, and our new 7"x14", fifteen-ply snare drum.

A heavy, high tension hardware package is included to stand up to full-throttle abuse, and two Agenda 100 dual-chain kick pedals will assure that every stroke is quickly transferred to the heads. Rather than weighing the natural Birch shells down with excessive lacquers, Diatribe shells stick with hand-rubbed satin finishes. This sets the shells free to sing with a clarity that is simple, defined, and spontaneous.

Ton contrast their natural beauty, Diatribe drums come with Black-Nickel plating on all shell hardware. Toms are slightly shallow for added focus, and Agenda 200 hardware is included to make the package a complete solution for the gigging drummer.

The 20"x20" kick keeps the feel tight without sacrificing much needed bottom end, and the 7" x13" snare delivers sweet crack without being robbed of depth. In contrast, shallow toms create a more musical tone down to the scale. With their superb tracking ability, ddrum Triggers set a new standard of trigger mechanics. With absolutely no adhesives required, the ddrum triggers clamp onto the sides of standard drum hoops.

The specially designed transducer is softly pressed against the drumhead. The advantages are obvious; you can change drum heads over and over without damaging the transducer, the metal casing protects the trigger from accidental drum hits and the ultra-light pressure of the transducer against the head prevents any "damping" effect.

ddrum Pro Acoustic Triggers

The ddrum Acoustic Triggers come in three different models that fit standard drum rim hoops: the Tom Tom Trigger, the Kick drum Trigger and a special Snare Trigger with a separate sensor for the rim. The Snare Trigger can also be used on Toms. The ddrum Acoustic Triggers feature a very sturdy mechanical housing and can be mounted anywhere around the hoop. The ddrum Acoustic Trigger features an XLR jack for safe connection to the sound module.

ddrum Red Shot Triggers

The ddrum Red Shot Trigger is the low cost alternative in the ddrum Trigger series. It comes in different models: the Snare/Tom Trigger and the Kick drum Trigger. They are mounted on to the hoop with one of the standard tension rods. The ddrum Red Shot Trigger features the same type of sensor as the ddrum Acoustic Trigger but has a stripped-down mechanical construction. The ddrum Red Shot Trigger features a 1/4" jack for connection to the sound module.
