Tim Sladden

Brisbane-based guitarist and songwriter Tim Sladden has developed eclecticism and true originality with his musicianship and songwriting. He plays regularly in many different projects both nationally and internationally while at the same time holding a lecturer/instructor position at JMC Academy in Brisbane and Southern Cross University in Lismore.

Boasting solo supports slots for acts including Pete Murray, Busby Marou and the Cat Empire, Tim is no stranger to the stage. He has performed as part of the Brisbane International Jazz Festival, The Jazz and Shiraz Festival, Brisbane Fringe Festival, Mullum Music Festival, The Village Festival and many others.

In addition to his work as a solo artist, Tim has been the guitarist of choice for artists like Conrad Sewell, Wendy Mathews, Sahara Beck, Katie Noonan, Mark Sholtez, Casey Donovan and Natalie Gillespie.

Aside from his diverse career as a guitarist, Tim has recorded, produced and toured two EP’s (including a sold out show at the Junk Bar in Brisbane). More recently, Tim composed music for a podcast entitled "Winding Road" (featured on audible) which saw several of his songs performed by Bernard Fanning and Elana Stone.
